Wilcox Bodies are fully customizable with in the dimensions of the chassis. That means we can change anything and make things bigger or smaller, not many companies out there can do that.

Standard Advantages:

• All Hinges, Locks and hardware made from Stainless Steel
• Hinges are not 304 stainless but higher grade 316 stainless
• All locks have a Wilcox designed molded plastic gasket behind to protect paint
• Wheel panels are removable for easy access to wheel/tire
• Wheel panels have molded rib and we do not use rubber fenderette (sp?)
• Doors are double paneled for strength and durability
• Weather stripping is a automotive bulb type to prevent water access to compartments
• All Steel bodies are upgraded to a 12 gauge top for superior strength
• Wilcox standard hitches are certified engineered for up to 8000 lbs
• Tail lights are housed in a fully enclosed exterior light module which increases the use of the interior of the rear compartments
• Bodies are welded buy certified welders
• Bottom of the compartments are designed with a wash out bottom, which increases the compartment usage by 3”
• Bodies are primed behind hinges, and back of hinges are primed as well for extra protection
• Venting if required is molded in doors or compartments with out the use of an and on plate

Our Mechanics Bodies have additional advantages.

• Mechanics bodies all have certified engineered crane towers, sub frames and outriggers to support cranes with the capacity up to 70,000 ft/lbs
• Bumper is reinforced with 10” channel and tubing for outriggers
• All mechanics bodies are 12 gauge steel
• Aluminum mechanics bodies (4000) have a certified steel crane tower attached to a certified aluminum floor to save weight.
• Aluminum mechanics bodies (6,000-14,000) are fully aluminum side packs mounted on top of a Steel certified floor to save weight.
